The 2019 South Pacific Presidents Elect Training Seminar is being held at Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre, a Trust Hotel located on the edge of the Panmure Basin. Besides being our Training centre it will also be our main accommodation venue.

PLEASE NOTE IF THE ACCOMMODATION AT WAIPUNA IS  FULLY BOOKED refer to the Alternative Accommodation item in the Accommodation menu.

When making a booking at Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre please advise them that you are coming for Rotary South Pacific PETS so that they know. (Special accommodation rates have been negotiated). You must book by telephone 0800 924 786. (Auckland line 526 3000) and give booking code ROTA0219.

They have “reserved” available rooms for us and these will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis. You may wish to book a twin room and link up with a neighbouring club President Elect to reduce costs.

For the energetic the Hotel Complex has:

# An outdoor swimming pool and spa complex

# A Gymnasium with a variety of exercise machines

For the really energetic round the edge of the Panmure Basin or Lagoon in a complete 3.3 km loop is a sealed Running/Walking Track. The track runs past the Waipuna Hotel and has exercise stations positioned every few hundred metres around the track. Slightly off the track on the western side of the lagoon in the Van Dammes Reserve, are the springs giving the area its name.

5 Minutes drive away is the biggest shopping complex in New Zealand-SYLVIA PARK

The Conference Centre itself comprises a Theatre seating 450 people, a Banquet Room and number of smaller conference rooms which we will using as Breakout Rooms.
